The Grand Entrance

The Grand Entrance is the formal and festive introduction of the Bar Mitzvah boy or Bat Mitzvah girl, their parents, and their siblings. From simple to extravagant, it offers an initial opportunity for everyone in attendance to be included in the celebration and an opportunity to share their joy as they communicate their excitement to the hosts, the hosts' family, and most specially to the Guest of Honor! At Mitzvah celebrations it is our aim to stage the kind of Grand Entrance that will say to all who are gathered together, this one of a kind celebration is going to filled with entertainment and fun!

A Sample Scenario Leading Up to the Grand Entrance

As friends and family gather, the adults are treated to a cocktail reception where they can socialize, and enjoy refreshments to the accompaniment of a specially-selected presentation of appropriate music. The children are directed to their area where a variety of
games, challenges, and activities are presented carnival-style, accompanied by an array of current pop and contemporary dance music presented at a muted volume. As more children arrive, in accordance with their receptivity, a couple of wide games are orchestrated and/or the introduction of some concerted preliminary dancing and even line dancing instruction, in readiness for the party ahead.

As a prelude to the Grand Entrance Introduction, the children are coached regarding their role and the adults are ushered into the main room.

Sample Grand Entrance Enhancements

- Preselected individuals swarm around the Guest of Honor armed with paper and pencils asking for their autograph as they enter.

- A slew of folks rush the Guest of Honor with flash cameras acting like Paparazzi.
